A Legacy of Excellence and Creativity
Welcome to Caroline Photography, where our passion for capturing life's most important moments has led us on a journey of over 35 years in the industry. With a rich history of excellence and creativity, our studio has evolved over the years to offer a diverse range of photography services. Discover the story behind our studio, from its early days to its growth and expansion, and see how our commitment to quality continues today.
The Early Days
In 1980, Caroline Beebe, who had previously owned a popular studio in Bakersfield, founded Caroline Photography in the Venetian Bridges area of Stockton. Working alongside her daughter Jane, the studio quickly gained a reputation for outstanding family and children's photography.
In 1985, Caroline moved the studio to a charming cottage on Porter Avenue, which featured a large indoor photography area and an on-site outdoor portrait space.
Growth and Expansion
In 1986, Kevin Richtik joined the Caroline Photography team as Caroline's photography assistant. After attending the renowned Brooks Institute of Photography and working for a well-known Southern California studio, Kevin returned to Caroline's in 1997. The studio continued to grow, winning numerous "Best of San Joaquin" awards and serving hundreds of local families, businesses, and corporate clients.
Today
After Caroline's passing in 2015, the studio moved to a new location on W. Hammer Lane, offering increased visibility, easier access for clients, and allowing Kevin Richtik to focus on his signature contemporary photography style. As the studio's owner and lead photographer, Kevin continues the legacy of Caroline Photography by providing creative, high-quality photography that blends contemporary styles with traditional techniques. Trust Caroline Photography for your family, business, and event photography needs, and experience the exceptional quality and creativity that has made our studio a beloved institution in the community.
